In the libraries of the "Centralized Library System" of the city of Chelyabinsk, the results of the Week of Children's and Youth Books 2017 are summed up. Meetings with Ural writers were held for young book loversNina Pikuleva, Natalia Krupina,Yuri Kornilov, presentations of books and writers-anniversaries of 2017, exciting literary hours, quiz games, creative workshops, book blind man's blind man's eyes and excursions to libraries. A significant part of the events was dedicated to135th anniversary of K.I. Chukovsky.

In library number 16 "Lighthouse » Children's Book Week opened children's poetess Nina Pikuleva.

Nina Vasilievna held a fun lesson “Easy Rules” for the fifth-grade students of school No. 43, and she introduced the children of the first and second grades of the Polevoy village school to the magician Pinty Gru. The third meeting was attended by schoolchildren of grades 2 and 4 of school No. 43, with Pinty Gru they “greeted the guests”, then guessed riddles from the new book “Riddles for Big and Little Friends” and learned a few easy rules. For example, the rule of the Russian language "Prefixes and Prepositions" from Nina Vasilievna's book "Easy Rules" was read by children in rap style, staging it. Several student rappers recited this rule, while the rest, like musicians, beat the beat, stomping and clapping their hands. After such an unusual meeting, the guys learned that the rules of the Russian language can be fun and easy to remember.

Everyone, without exception, was interested in the game “How are you?”, especially if you play it with the author. The game "How are you?" in 2016, it turned 30 years old, and since it was published in various magazines without indicating the name of the author, it was a discovery for us that Nina Pikuleva came up with such a popular game. The game charges with energy, optimism and good mood of everyone around. This is not surprising, because Nina Vasilievna herself is a very positive, open, cheerful person and her good mood and love for children and life is transmitted through her games, poems, songs, riddles.

At all meetings, the guys with pleasure guessed riddles. There were both easy and those that did not succumb even to adults. Here is one of them: "Who walks sitting?". Think carefully, this is not a simple riddle. And if you also find it difficult to answer, find a clue in the book "Riddles for Big and Little Friends."

And, of course, poetry was heard at all meetings, and the author himself read them, conveying the intonation, the mood that he put into them. To see the author of books and hear his voice is worth a lot. The guys were delighted, they got the opportunity to get to know the children's poetess, who lives with them in the same city!

With librarians, Nina Pikuleva shared her experience of holding literary meetings, the peculiarities of working with children and the secrets of reading her poems. Armed with this knowledge, the librarians held high-profile readings "My friend is the magician Pinty Gru" for pupils kindergarten No. 89. Relevance
One of the priority problems of our society is introducing the child to fiction. Unfortunately, in our age of informatization, the attitude of children to the book has changed, interest in reading has begun to decline. According to numerous studies, already at preschool age, children prefer watching TV and playing computer games to books.
The problem of maintaining interest in the book, in reading as a process, is more relevant today than ever. There are no ready-made recipes on how to teach a child to love a book, because it is very difficult to teach the complex art of reading and understanding a book.
From an early age, it is necessary to teach the baby to treat the book as the greatest value, to hold it correctly in his hands, to leaf through it correctly, to know its place on the bookshelf, to remember the name, the author. The book helps the child to explore the world, develops curiosity. The book is not only a source of knowledge - it is designed to fulfill the tasks of moral and aesthetic education, to awaken love for mother tongue, to the native country, to its nature and people, to develop a sense of beauty. The life of a child becomes fuller and more meaningful from the fact that it includes the heroes of children's books. When working with children, we should give a special role to illustrations in the understanding of the text. They help the child to understand the read text.
We see that during the entire preschool period there is an active development and improvement of the ability to perceive literary works, the formation of interest and love for the book, that is, the child is successfully formed as a reader. A thoughtful selection of books for children's reading is determined by the fact that it inevitably affects the literary development of the child, the formation of his literary experience at the stage of preschool childhood, and the development of an attitude towards the book. In accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard, the perception of fiction is aimed at creating an interest and need for reading books.

Traditionally, at the end of March, libraries host a week of children's books, or "book name days", the purpose of which is to popularize reading among schoolchildren. The libraries of MBUK "Gagarinskaya MCBS" were no exception and held a series of events.

On March 16, at the Central Children's Library for preschoolers of the kindergarten "Kolokolchik", an opening event was held for the Week of the Children's Book "Knizhkina Name Day". At which the children learned the history of the origin of this holiday, played the fun games "Book Engine" and "Collect a Fairy Tale", answered tricky riddles, remembered their favorite fairy tales, showed their ingenuity and their talents. Of course, I could not do without watching my favorite cartoon “What is good, what is bad” on the verses of V. Mayakovsky. The event was attended by 23 people.

On March 27, the pupils of the kindergarten "Solnyshko" took part in the book express: "Under the sail of the book to new discoveries." Children at the festival were met by the Queen Book, Professor of Book Sciences, and in the country of Chitalia they were met with the Book Astrologer. But before the country of Chitalia, the guys went a long and thorny path. The kids started their journey from the Kingdom of Books, where they learned about the importance of reading, that books also celebrate their name days. Then everyone together went on a trip to the "Toon Island", where the fabulous Pencil taught the guys "What is good and what is bad." The next stop is the terrible and mysterious "Cave of Poems", which contained treasures - poems by children's writers. "Mysterious Tree" was the next stage of the journey through the magical land. The children had to solve all sorts of tricky riddles. Well, the last test on the way to the country of Chitalia was a furiously raging sea, which could only be crossed through magic rings. And the guys did an excellent job with this task, having got to the country of Chitalia, where the Book Astrologer was already waiting for them, with their fabulous questions, guessing which the guys finally received the gift “Magic Chest”, in which there were coloring books and pencils. The event was attended by 28 people.

On March 30, the Central Children's Library completed a series of events dedicated to the Week of Children's Books by holding a fairy-tale game "Brave Rescuers in the Country of Chukokkola" with children from the kindergarten "Krepysh", dedicated to K.I. Chukovsky. An exhibition-portrait "He was rewarded with some kind of eternal childhood" was framed. The books of this writer, like a journey to the Land of Cheerful Childhood, will not be difficult to go there: open the book, start reading - and you will immediately find yourself in this wonderful country. So the guys were asked to check whether they are familiar with the works of Chukovsky. They happily answered the questions of the quiz "Confusion", read books and watched the cartoons "Moydodyr" and "Telephone". The event was attended by 25 people.

Some fairy-tale kingdom was ruled by a wise king, who was very fond of reading fairy tales, had his own library, in which there were many books. Once the king had a misfortune: the most beloved Silver Book of Fairy Tales disappeared, and the Robber, who also loved to read, stole it. The holiday of Children's Book Week, in the opinion of its creators, should very clearly demonstrate how important a book from childhood is in a person's upbringing. A collection of favorite fairy tales can leave an indelible imprint on the soul. Because it is the stories well known to many that make young children think for the first time about what is evil and good, why it is so important not to deceive their parents and always tell the truth. All the main and fundamental character traits can be brought up by a book, and parents should definitely know this.

In total, 280 people attended the events dedicated to the opening of the Children's Book Week.

For the first time, the holiday of the children's book "Knizhkiny Name Day" was held on the initiative of the children's writer Lev Kassil on March 26, 1943 in Moscow. This is a holiday of inquisitive children and adults, a holiday of fun adventures, new literary discoveries. In our country, in the last week of March, Children's Book Week is celebrated. And every book, like every person, has its own birthday. Most often, Book's name days are celebrated in libraries, you can learn about them during literary events or from a book exhibition.

The motto of the Book Week 2017, our library has chosen the words "A wonderful world of books awaits you!" For seven days, every day the children were waiting for various mass events. For younger students - "Journey to Chitai - the city", a game - presentation "Whose birthday is today?", An educational quiz based on the books of E.I. Charushin, a literary game based on the fairy tales of Charles Perrault, a matinee based on the fairy tales of H.-H. Andersen.

To the anniversary of Korney Ivanovich Chukovsky in grades 1a, 1b and 2b, a fascinating journey through the book country of a wonderful children's storyteller and connoisseur of children's souls took place. The guys, together with the librarian, recalled the writer's works and put them on the exhibition. Schoolchildren enthusiastically answered the questions of the computer quiz “Riddles from Grandfather Korney” and completed the tasks “Complete the Word”, answered riddles. Chukovsky will never leave the circle of children's reading, because they contain everything that children need so much - kindness, humor, play and lightness, and fun activities once again confirmed this.

On Fairy Tale Day, junior schoolchildren met with Ch. Perrault's fairy tales. Favorite fairy tales "Cinderella", "Puss in Boots", "Thumb Boy", "Sleeping Beauty" turned 320 this year, and they are still interesting and read by today's children.

One of the pages of complex events was devoted to ecology.

“There is a huge house on earth under a blue roof.

The sun, rain and thunder, forest and sea surf live in it.

Birds and flowers live in it, the spring ringing of the stream,

You and all your friends live in that bright house.

Wherever the roads lead, you will always be in it.

NATURE native land this house is called.

L. Daineko

Communicating with nature is a great happiness and a vital need for any person. Nature attracts artists, poets, musicians with its enchanting originality. Each season is beautiful in its own way, but this beauty must be seen, felt. The earth is generous but, unfortunately, needs our protection. Concerned about its ecological state, people all over the world are joining forces to save the planet. The science of ecology appeared in the middle of the 19th century and was defined as the science of the interaction of all living organisms on earth with the environment. In the modern context, ecology is increasingly understood as the protection environment. And this is no accident. Due to man-made disasters, violent human activity and climate change, the Earth, more than ever, needs to be protected.

About what needs to be done in order to understand and preserve the nature of our Earth, students in grades 1-3 learned from the presentation "How beautiful this world is."

Water is one of the most important elements on our planet. Presentation "The Blue Pearl of the Universe" told students in grade 4 about waterfalls around the world.

And the students of the 7th grade were offered Ecological game "And the music of nature sounds over the earth"(with presentation). At the base - methodical development scenario of employees of the Chelyabinsk regional youth library. The material is wonderful and interesting. In the future, it is planned to hold this event in the 6th grade.

A serious conversation about new authors also took place with middle-level students. About new books in their reading environment. Novels for teenagers have captured the book world. No longer children, but not yet adults, young people want to read about their problems. They want to know that sudden mood swings are normal and happen to everyone. That every first one has skirmishes with parents, and gaining popularity at school is really as difficult as conquering Everest. V overview for teenagers and youth and book kaleidoscope"Long live the reader!" new books about teenagers and for teenagers were selected on a variety of burning topics. And reading such books is recommended not only for children, but also for parents: they will add understanding of the situation.

On the final day dedicated to international day children's book, in the classroom of the extracurricular activities program in the 2nd grade, a holiday dedicated to the birthday and fairy tales of G.Kh. Andersen “Fairy tales are with me everywhere” took place.

Each event ended with a quatrain:

May this book week

Will only last until April

But you, reading people,

Read books all year round!
