Path of Exile: War for the Atlas - Complete changelog. Path of Exile Void Keepers Unique Items Void House poe

The Chaos Orb is a fairly rare and useful item in Path of Exile. It has several uses, and players high level always hunt for him. It is quite difficult to get it, although there are several ways for this. The article describes all possible options application of the Sphere and methods of obtaining it in the game world.

Where to find an item

In the world of the game, there are two public ways to obtain the Chaos Orb. This can be done by high-level players who buy equipment from merchants. The law applies here that when buying a full set of rare quality armor, the user can receive 1 Orb if all items are identified. If the opposite happens, then instead of a gift, two units of the item will be taken away from the player. When purchasing equipment, you should pay attention to this.

The second way is to exchange divination cards from different sets. They are divided by quality and are valued in different amounts of currency - from 1 to 10. The user will first have to collect 8 cards from one set, then they can be exchanged for Orbs of Chaos. Cards drop out at different locations that the user visits during the pumping of his character.

Applying the item

In Path of Exile, Chaos Orb has two popular uses that you should definitely use. The first and foremost is the replacement of characteristics in rare equipment. After being applied, an item of equipment will be endowed with completely new random properties. There will be no less than three, but no more than six. It will be quite difficult to achieve the necessary characteristics for a character of your class, and you will have to spend a lot of items. It should be noted that when you change the parameters, the number of stars, the quality of the item and the connections remain the same. Using the Orb of Chaos is much cheaper to obtain new characteristics than combining Orbs of Alchemy and Purification.

The second use case is to pay for services, items, or help in the game. The thing is considered the unofficial currency in transactions between players. It has a great influence on the economy, because the more Spheres on hand, the higher the prices become. Medium quality equipment is sold exclusively for this currency. Users will have to save a lot in order to achieve the desired parameters on objects.

Game world

In order not to worry too much about the need to craft Orbs of Chaos, the user just needs to travel to different locations and collect divination cards. Over time, the required set will be typed, and it can be exchanged with the corresponding character. Examine the surroundings carefully and take all the prizes after fighting with monsters. When you reach the level where the Spheres are needed, a lot of them will accumulate with the help of sets.

If this does not happen, then head to the Cave of Wrath, where you can collect a set that will be equal when exchanging ten Orbs. In addition, they can always be bargained with other users for equipment of average quality, which is needed as a starting point for pumping the character to the maximum level. If it is interesting to play, then the necessary items will accumulate in bags over time - there are enough ways for this.

Abyss Challenge League

  • Challenge Leagues are a great way to get started in a fresh economy. All of your existing characters and items will remain in the permanent Standard and One Life leagues, but you can create a hero in a new league to complete challenges and demonstrate your prowess in Path of Exile!
  • In 3.1.0, three versions of the Abyss League will be available: Standard, One Life and Solo. The mechanics and items are the same in all versions of the league. In the league of the Abyss, you will find cracks in the ground. As you get closer, these cracks will widen and spread further, and terrible monsters will begin to appear from the black depths. Try to keep up with the crack and you will be challenged by the dangerous monsters of the Abyss. Do not cope with the monsters in time - the Abyss will slam shut, but if you win quickly, you will receive a chest with valuable rewards.
  • As you play in the league, you will find chasms that will lead you to the depths of the Abyss. In these areas, you will encounter many monsters, find valuable rewards and fight the boss.
  • As you explore the depths of the Abyss at high levels, you can fight the lich boss. Such a boss is rare, the battle with him is difficult, but the rewards for the victory will be valuable. Only by defeating the liches will you receive unique Abyss items.
  • Abyssal gems can drop from monsters and chests in the Abyss. Like other gems, they can be placed in sockets on the passive tree to enhance your character. However, unlike other gems, Abyss Gems have exclusive new properties and can be placed in special Abyssal Sockets on your items! Abyssal Nests will be found on new unique Abyss items and a new belt type: Dark Vise.
  • In the League of the Abyss, you have 40 challenges to complete. After completing 12, you will receive the Void Helmet as a reward. For 24 trials you will receive the Void Wings, for 36 you will receive the Void Portal. All of these microtransactions can only be obtained by completing Void League Challenges.
  • Starting at the 19th challenge, for every third challenge you complete, you will receive a piece of the Abyss Totem, which you can place in your hideout. The totem will remain with you forever.

  • The existing stones of Vulnerability have become stones of Despair. Despair curses all targets in the area, decreasing their Chaos Resistance and taking increased Damage over Time. Cursed enemies also take additional chaos damage when hit. The new Vulnerability Stone is now red.
  • Your minions (and their minions) will no longer deal or take damage while you are dead.
  • Dark Pact no longer gains radius increases when using your health. The increase in damage when using your health grows more slowly with the level of the gem, now at level 20 the skill deals 76% more damage (up from 95%).
  • Detonate Corpse now deals Spell Damage based on the skill gem level, in addition to damage based on the corpse's maximum health. The base fire damage dealt by Explosion Enchantments has been significantly increased. The skill now gains an additional area of effect as its level increases, and the base critical strike chance has been increased from 5% to 6%. Cast time reduced to 0.6 seconds (up from 0.8).
  • Summon a ghost now gives ghosts additional accuracy based on the level of the gem.
  • Bear Trap and Vaal Shower of Arrows now remove all movement speed, instead of reducing it by 300%.

  • Summoned skeletons now have a 50% more added damage multiplier instead of 30% less.
  • Raging spirits, spiders created by the Fang of Arakaali, and ghostly skulls from the Essence of Madness can no longer taunt enemies.
  • The amount of burning damage inflicted by burning ground from a character's Burning Arrow with the Pitch Darkness gem is now determined by the level of the Burning Arrow gem.
  • Orb of Storms can now trigger channeled lightning strikes.
  • Desecration: Now creates 5 corpses (was 3). The cooldown has been reduced to 3 seconds per charge (from 5), and the cast time has been reduced to 0.8 seconds (from 1). The maximum level of Corpses of Desecration constantly increases with the level of the stone. The skill can now create higher-level corpses at most gem levels, except for 19, at which the maximum corpse level has been reduced from 100 to 81.
  • Reworked Lightning Shoots. It is now a channeled skill that deals more damage every 4 pulses. Improved the visual effects of the skill. A new version hits a little less often than the previous one, but the total damage from the skill has become higher.

The change has negatively impacted some skills and positively on others, but in general, Melee skills enhanced by Hail Strikes will target targets in a way that better suits the behavior of a particular attack.
  • The range of the first waves of Bladefall was wider than intended. The area of effect of the skill is now more consistent with the area of the visual effect in which the swords are falling. Bladefall's overall area of effect has been slightly increased to compensate for the narrower areas at lower skill levels.
  • Storm Burst is now properly affected by modifiers based on the state of the projectiles (for example, the Powerful Accuracy property "Projectiles have 100% increased critical strike chance against targets they pierce")
  • Charged dash is now capped at a maximum of 15 hits per skill use.
  • Static Blast radius increased from 19 to 20, total radius at level 20 is now 24. Static Blast Explosion now correctly applies conditions with a 40% less modifier. Previously, the skill applied conditions without taking into account the "less damage" modifier.

  • When used on a belt, Essence of Madness now grants 10% increased movement speed when using any flask effect (up from 5%).
  • Atlas-only base item types can no longer be found in Vaal Side Areas.

Balance unique items

  • Aziri's Insight: No longer drains health instantly from critical hits, but instead grants Vaal Pact if you've dealt a critical strike recently. The change does not affect existing versions of the item. Find out about the Vaal Covenant changes in the Passive Tree Changes section.
  • Witchfire Brew: Creates an aura of Despair curse when used. The change affects all versions of the item.
  • Arrows of Doom: Now adds 100% of physical damage as damage from a random element (up from 110%). No longer increases Critical Strike Chance, but instead has (12-16) to (20-24) added Physical Damage. Using a Divine Orb on existing versions of the item will change the added physical damage and added damage from a random element, but will not remove the critical strike chance.
  • Doombolt Prism: Now adds 100% physical damage as damage from each element (up from 110%). Use Divine Orb on an existing version of the item to apply this change.
  • Konmin's stratagem: No longer creates a cloud of smoke when a placed trap is triggered. Instead, the item grants the Fog of War skill, which creates a cloud of smoke when any of your traps are triggered. The Fog of War has a cooldown.
  • Lion's Roar: Now only adds knockback to melee attacks during Flask effect.
  • Wolf Spider: The chance of this item being dropped by monsters has been significantly reduced. The item has been used too widely by melee characters in different levels as a very affordable way to get around accuracy requirements.
  • Biscoe's Collar: Significantly reduced the chance of an item dropping from monsters.
  • Queen of the Forest: Now has 200 to 240% increased dodge (up from 240 to 380%). Use Divine Orb on an existing version of the item to apply this change. The movement speed increase from this item is now capped at 100% on all versions. The change to the base item types with evasion in the Fall of Oriath resulted in an oversized increase in evasion and movement speed on this item.
  • Phoenix Rebirth: Maximum Fire Resistance reduced to 5% (was 8%). Health regeneration is "15 to 20 per second" (was 6). Use Divine Orb on an existing version of the item to apply this change. New versions also grant 40 to 60 health (change cannot be obtained with a Divine Orb).
  • Omen of the Winds: Now allows Ice Shot to pierce 3 additional targets (up from 5). Use Divine Orb on an existing version of the item to apply this change.
  • Dancing Dervish: While Manifest Dancing Dervish is active, Dancing Dervish has a 25% chance to grant you a Rampage charge when hitting a unique enemy. The minion created by this unique item can no longer move around impassable areas. Changes affect all versions of the item.
  • Demon Residence: Chilling effect now slows enemies by 30% when you are hit (up from 10%). The change affects all versions of the item.

  • Auxium: Item description now specifies that Freeze Duration is based on Energy Shield. The functionality of the item has not changed.
