Brief history of vocational school №72

In the early 1970s. in Spetsstroymontazhtrest it was decided to build its own forge of personnel.

In a remote area of the city of Kaliningrad, Moscow region (Korolev), near one of the oldest in the Moscow region factory "Peredovaya tekstilshchitsa", a huge piece of swampy floodplain of the Klyazma River was allocated and construction began. The main burden fell on the shoulders of SMU-1.

1974 year- Order No. 369 of the Moscow Regional Department of Vocational and Technical Education dated 05.21.1974 created the "City Vocational and Technical School No. 72" (GPTU-72) in the city of Kaliningrad, Moscow Region.

PTU-72 initially planned to conduct training in construction specialties:

  • carpenter
  • finisher

  • crane operator

1 All-Union competition of school production teams under the patronage of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU L.I. Brezhnev was held in PTU-72. All construction trades were represented.

1974-1981 years- in PTU-72 the welding workshop was expanded, piles were driven under the pool. All employees received apartments. Craftsmen and students worked on the construction of residential buildings.

1984 year- GPTU-72 was renamed into "Secondary Vocational and Technical School No. 72" (SPTU-72) in Kaliningrad, Moscow Region, on the basis of the order of the Moscow Regional Department of Vocational Education No. 1433 dated 19.09.1984.
