Baths for weight loss will be a good addition to other procedures for getting rid of excess weight. Such baths stimulate blood circulation, remove toxins from the body, have a diaphoretic effect, and simply relax and soothe. Usually, the following herbs are used to prepare slimming baths: peppermint, celandine, chamomile, shepherd's purse, St. John's wort, yarrow, rosemary, oregano, plantain.
Collection for weight loss:

  • oregano herb;
  • sage herb;
  • peppermint herb;
  • calendula flowers.

Prepare a collection of named plants. Brew 200 g of the finished collection with 1 liter of boiling water and let it brew for 15 minutes. Strain and add to bath. Such a bath well removes toxins from the body and helps restore skin elasticity.
Thyme bath:

  • 150 g thyme;
  • 1 tbsp celandine herbs;
  • 1 liter of boiling water.

Foot baths

Relaxing bath:

It is also very easy to prepare a relaxing bath of calendula or nettle: boil a handful of herbs with boiling water, let it brew for half an hour, strain and add to the foot bath.
Bath for sweaty feet:

  • 2 tbsp rowan leaf;
  • 2 tbsp wormwood herbs;
  • 2 tbsp oak bark;
  • 1 liter of boiling water.

Pour boiling water over the herbal ingredients, let it brew for 15-20 minutes, strain and pour into a bowl of water. Place your feet in the pelvis for 15 minutes. After the bath, dry your feet well with a towel. The recommended course of procedures for obtaining the result is 10 baths.
Bath for varicose veins:

  • 100 g willow bark;
  • 100 g of wormwood herb;
  • 1 liter of boiling water.

Pour boiling water over willow and wormwood and leave to infuse for 12 hours. Then strain the infusion and pour into a basin in ode. Take a bath for 20 minutes. The recommended course of treatment is 10 procedures.
Bath for immunity:

  • 4 tbsp flax seed;
  • 1 st. boiling water.

Pour boiling water over the flaxseed and let it brew for an hour. Strain the infusion and pour into a foot bath. Carry out the procedure for 15 minutes. Then dry your feet and brush with linseed oil. Contraindications

Herbal baths are contraindicated in:

  • infectious diseases;
  • elevated body temperature;
  • pregnancy;
  • menses;
  • bleeding;
  • skin diseases and wounds on the skin;
  • tumors;
  • diseases of cardiovascular diseases;
  • severe diseases of the respiratory system;
  • severe diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • individual intolerance to certain plants and allergies to herbs.

These formulations are very different: they were opened, mainly by the forces of alternative medicine, over many centuries. But each of them has a goal not just to relax you and fill the bathroom. pleasant aroma, but first of all to nourish the body with useful elements.

salt bath. Salt baths are among the most popular. They have long been taken to prevent colds in the winter. A salt bath improves blood circulation, relaxes the musculoskeletal system, relieves tension and improves metabolism. Scientifically, such baths are called sodium chloride baths, since sodium chloride is, in fact, salt. And a very important and useful element for our body, which is very difficult to obtain from other products. Preparing a salt bath is simple: 300-400 grams of salt is mixed as best as possible in the bath at a temperature of 35-38 degrees. It is taken within twenty minutes, it is better not to sit longer. It will be useful to dry after such a bath without wiping. It is preferable to use sea salt instead of regular salt.

tea bath. Another simple recipe is a bath with green tea. Three tablespoons of tea are brewed in 250 ml of water until completely cooled, after which they are filtered and poured into the finished bath, stirred. It is curious that the skin, saturated with tea, acquires the color of a light tan for a while. This is not for long, but this technique can be used before a date, for example. In general, tea baths perfectly soothe, help get rid of stress, and have a general tonic effect on the body.

Chamomile bath. It is in great demand among romantic natures. Very well relieve convulsive pain in the muscles. They also help neurotics and just those whose nerves are loosened. But such a bath is already a little more difficult to prepare. First you need to buy at least 0.5 kg of flowers in a pharmacy - this is how much you need for a full bath. Then, over low heat in a closed vessel, this matter must be boiled for about ten minutes, then filtered. The resulting brew is poured into the bath, taken for 20 minutes.

Coniferous baths. Another recipe for a traditional Russian bath. Pine needles have many healing properties that are beneficial to our body. Coniferous infusion is brewed from cones, needles and twigs. For a full bath you need 1.5 kg of such material. This is an even more difficult bath to prepare, it is insisted for 12 hours, after half an hour of boiling.

Qualitative coniferous infusion can be identified by a clear brown color. You can use pharmacy needles, but fresh is better, there is much more return from it, and the pharmacy coniferous extract has a rather greenish color.

mustard bath. Mustard baths are no less famous among the people. Oak bark bath. Oak bark baths are very popular in the coldest regions of our vast country. Since ancient times, it was believed that oak bark keeps the power of a mighty oak, and there is some truth in this. The belief is probably based on the miraculous power of oak bark in scarring wounds. It contains many useful elements for the body. This bath is often taken for frostbite. It is also recommended for those who constantly feel cold in some part of the body, for example, legs. It helps well to cope with skin damage caused by frost, with dilated veins.

For one full bath you need a kilogram of oak bark. First, the bark is thoroughly crushed so that it better transfers its properties to water, then it is placed in a three-liter container filled with water and insisted for 8 hours. The resulting infusion is boiled for half an hour, filtered, and poured into a bath with a volume of 10-12 liters of water.

As mentioned above, it is best not to dry off, after taking such a healing bath, and let the body dry itself a little, and then smear the skin with an ordinary baby cream. Bath "Spanish cloak"

A bath called a Spanish cloak gives a stronger effect. To do this, we also brew coniferous branches in a large container, moisten sheets in a hot broth and completely wrap ourselves in it, lie down and ask us to wrap us with several blankets. It is necessary that the hot sheet does not cool as long as possible, and the bed remains dry. In such a raincoat, one must lie for at least two hours, after which one should rub himself with a towel and drink something pleasant.
