I would also like to note a roomy trunk, if you fold the back seat, you can cram 2 bicycles into a sedan. For 3.5 years of owning a Chevrolet Cruze, it has never let me down. It started up regularly in cold weather, the exchange rate stabilization system made it possible to climb on such decent snow, and when Moscow was flooded, I plowed street rivers on it. To Kuchugur and back, the long distance passed easily. At the same time, nothing leaked or knocked anywhere, no terrible lights and errors on the display lit up, but I think it’s too early to talk about this at 66,000 km. The 1.6 engine is clearly too small for Cruise, but with a handle, where it didn’t go, in the city of this for the eyes. I have nothing special to say about safety, there were few dangerous situations on the road, but there were. The ABS worked perfectly, there were no problems with the electrics, the car just didn’t shoot pillows in the face. I still like the body, I just don’t like to cling to the curbs with a low front end, the clearance is a minus. Inside, everything remains just as practical and spacious, but wear is already noticeable on the seats, the armrest is loosened (this is fixable), the plastic near the audio system is easily soiled and prone to scratches. All this spoiled the appearance of the Chevrolet Cruze interior a little. There are complaints about sound insulation, if you drive onto paving stones, the suspension will lose every stone. It’s good to start in the winter, it doesn’t mean to warm up quickly, the stove heats up for a long time, but the seats get very hot. How much I spend - so far it has not gone beyond consumables.

I compare, of course, with the ACX: the Shumka is just super, the Chevrolet Cruze rides smoothly, it steers well, the music is quite good, there are many settings, it reads USB. I arrived quickly, I didn’t want to get out of the Chevrolet Cruze. Most of all, I was pleased with the consumption on the highway with air conditioning at an average speed of 110-120 km / h, without sharp overtaking 7.5 liters. To be honest, I did not expect to see such numbers on a non-rolled car. I will not write about the dynamics - 109 hp with a volume of 1.6, everything is clear here. Here you can write about the box: as I understand it, there are 6 gears, and the Chevrolet Cruze constantly wants to switch to a higher gear in order to save money. Well done box. If you need to twist, then you need to press the pedal, but the engine buzzes, yes, the box “to think about” hangs, but it goes, and it’s quite normal for itself. In the pits, the running gear mumbles, but what can you do, not a Corolla for 950, but it doesn’t cost 950 either. In general, it’s tolerable, without breakdowns, but with sounds characteristic of Mazda, for example. There was an Atenza, something similar, but Cruz rides softly. In general, while all my impressions, the machine surprised. Yes, you can buy a better machine, but much more expensive. Now I’m glad that I didn’t take Ford, I would go now, twitch. Well, those who want to buy Solaris for 630, I advise you to think hard.

Bought a Chevrolet Cruze in May 2013. The choice was between Kia Rio, Ford Focus, Cruze, WW Polo. In the cabin: in my opinion, everything is in its place, where it should be. There is more than enough space for passengers even behind me (height 194 cm). The rag, of course, gets dirty, but it can also be cleaned effectively for 2 thousand a year (dry cleaning). Heated seats - I don't even know how to say it. He has 3 modes - bakes, fries, fries like hell. But it does its job and hasn't let me down. I'm running from the door. When you open them, they seem reliable, and they close with a slight push with one finger, then the mechanism will finish everything for you. Plastic, of course, is cheap, but it does not stink or creak. Insanely convenient storage compartment for glasses - there it easily gets up mobile phone with a navigator and quite firmly held there, does not fall out. This is a huge plus. Like the emergency button. You press it with one finger, without taking your hand off the MCP handle (they can make it convenient when they want). The trunk of the Chevrolet Cruze is medium in size. You won't say otherwise. It seems big, but the racks spoil everything. Exterior: here the taste and color of all felt-tip pens are different. Very pretty. Of course, the small clearance infuriates - curbs and fishing trips are clearly not the elements of the Chevrolet Cruze. Engine: 1.6 is too small for this ship. Honestly, it's weak. Overtaking often takes a long time to weigh. Doesn't provide comfort. The rest - no complaints. Does not eat oil, does not make extra sounds. Suspension: the softest in the class. The ride is simple and stupidly comfortable, there were never breakdowns. What else is needed? We're not discussing BMW here with its driving character. For 60 thousand run did not change anything in the suspension. Nothing knocks, does not rattle, and they say at the service that there is still a margin. Noise isolation: yes, it is not enough here. I will not say that it is less than in classmates, but not enough. For whom this moment is important - do it extra for some money. At a speed of 130, the sound of atmospheric 1.6 starts to bother. For repairs: somehow the car stood for 4 months near the house - I went to the government, after which the “check” caught fire, I started eating 20 liters of gasoline and refused to drive normally, the dynamics dropped to 0. On the same day I went to the officials, under warranty Replaced an oxygen sensor. The problem is gone.

This, of course, is better, but not a cardinal solution. The mass of the station wagon is greater, and it is also loaded more, so the acceleration dynamics are the same - 12.6 seconds to a hundred, and the thrust is only 5 Nm higher.

Against their background, a 1.8-liter, 141-horsepower “gasoline” stands out among its less powerful counterparts. Its torque is 176 Nm of torque, and a hundred Chevrolet Cruze sedan exchanges with it in 10 seconds.

There is also a 2-liter turbodiesel, but it is not supplied to Russia, so such cars are brought from Europe. Nevertheless, it is an excellent choice - economical, powerful and high-torque.

Transmission

The machine can be equipped with both manual and automatic transmissions. The 5-speed works flawlessly, the gears engage easily and don't "shut up".
