Speed ​​characteristics

The Cyclone boys cube cuts corners very well and spins very easily. The mechanism of the cube is already noticeably different from cheap models up to 4 USD. What I would like to note:

• the central cube contains a skirt, which most likely performs the function of an additional guide and does not allow the rib cubes to easily fall out of their places,
• rib cubes have a complex structure,
• hard plastic makes the rotation of the cube very pleasant, fast and controllable.

In its price range, this cube has no analogues with similar characteristics.

To date, my personal record for solving this cube is about 20 seconds. When assembling from 3 attempts, I think that the result will be within 25-27 seconds. In fact, it’s not the cube that prevents me from collecting faster, but the fact that I don’t know all the formulas, well, I’m a little dumb =).

Immediately, I note that this cube also has an older brother - Cyclone Boys Jisuzhiyun. There is a version with black plastic stickers and without stickers. The non-sticker version is slightly larger than the FeiWu cube and has an even faster build. The difference in price between these models is minimal.

YJ Yulong Cube Review

Another decent cube in this price range is the YJ Yulong. The Yulong cube can be safely attributed to inexpensive 3x3 cubes, its price of a cube can fluctuate between 5.5-7 USD. The model comes in three colors: black with stickers, without stickers, without stickers with pink.

The plastic in the YJ Yulong cube is much denser than in the more expensive cubes. In addition, even looking inside the cube, you can see that everything is done very high quality, without burrs and defects. The side tie bolts also look very massive. YJ Chilong Cube Review

The most expensive cube from this collection. The Chilong cube is not made without stickers. The price of this cube is usually at least $6. In fact, the cube is really worth the money.

Chilong is definitely the big brother of the Yulong cube. At the same time, the developers did not change much in the structure of the cube, looking inside, I still did not understand what was changed (except for the location of the rails). As in the case of Yulong, Chilong is made of good plastic, moreover, it seemed to me that the plastic was even better than in Yulong (perhaps it seemed).

Assembly for speed

It is difficult to single out any parameters of the Chilong cube that would distinguish it from Yulong's younger brother:

• sides rotate smoothly and quickly,
• the cube is not blocked during assembly,
• corners rotate when assembling at speed =(,

In principle, if you get used to the features of the cube, you can easily set new records, and up to 20 seconds. Speed ​​characteristics

As always, let's start with the corners. It cuts corners very well, while corners of not only 45 degrees, but also more are cut well, and if you take a very large angle, then the cut goes in the opposite direction, it is almost impossible to lock the cube in this way. The central cube has a skirt, it holds back the ribs and the cube does not fall apart during assembly. The internal parts of the mechanism are very unusual and look impressive and complex.

If we talk about the shortcomings, it is worth noting that the corner cubes are easily rotated during assembly. No other significant shortcomings were noted. The model is really very good in terms of price and quality.

Well, now let's look at what this cube demonstrates when assembled for speed. Corners cut well, the standard shearing test is fine, but during assembly, sometimes the shearing is not very pleasant and fast. Unlike Yuxin Qilin, corner cubes are more stable in place and do not rotate as often when assembled at speed. The center cube contains a skirt, in fact this is a must for all good cubes, because the skirt helps keep the cubes together and not fall apart when assembled.
