Analysis of the poem "First Snow" by Bunin

"The First Snow" is a poem that belongs to the early work of the poet. Bunin writes about the onset of winter and sadness about the passing warm days. The author spent his childhood in the countryside, so he learned to notice the beauty of nature.

The work describes how winter fights for its rights at night and in the morning white snow covers the fields. This becomes clear from the first stanza. The scent of frosty freshness wafts all around. The sky is dyed crimson. Everything is described in understandable speech, because there is the presence of a lyrical hero. The verse consists of three parts, each has a certain meaning.

There are changes in nature. Using objective epithets, it seems that all natural phenomena occur in currently. From the very beginning there are the first signs of winter. This is noticeable in the frosty freshness in the fields and forests, the color of the sunset. Thus, the onset of real winter is foreshadowed.

Reading the second stanza, one can notice some anxiety. In this part, observing the changes in nature, the poet is waiting for the first snow to fall. But he's not the only one languishing in anticipation. Nature knows it too. The leaves have fallen from the trees, there are no flowers. The fields and gardens were deserted. Everything is ready for the onset of the cold season.

In the third part, expectations are justified. A storm is heard at night, and when it dawns, flying flakes of snow are seen. There is a farewell to autumn, which is emphasized by a belated string of geese. The hero becomes a witness who observes the change of seasons.

Describing the arrival of winter, the positive attitude of the hero, his dream of transforming the world, becomes noticeable. He sees this as a bright holiday and accepts life in all its manifestations.

There is a sense of sadness in the last lines. The poet is a little sad about the past warm days. But they will be back soon. And events and time itself will not be able to return. It is from this that there is a little anguish. The past days are expressed with the help of a string that has flown away into the distance.

The combination of red and white colors makes it easier to describe, showing the involvement of natural phenomena in the attitude of the lyrical character. He is part of nature. This is evidenced by his use of the pronoun "we".

Bunin's poem conveys the moving nature, her life, is thought-provoking. Cleverly demonstrates the illusion that the action is happening right now. It can be seen how much the author loves his native land.

Winter in the work of Robert Duncan

Smell of winter cold
In fields and forests.
Lit up with bright purple
Heaven before sunset.

The storm blew through the night,
And with the dawn on the village,
To the ponds, to the deserted garden
The first snow fell.

And today over the wide
white tablecloth fields
We said goodbye to the belated
A string of geese.

Mum! look out the window
Know that yesterday it was not for nothing that the cat
Washed the nose
There is no dirt, the whole yard is dressed,
Brightened, whitened -
Apparently it's cold.

Not scratchy, light blue
Frost is hung on the branches -
Just look at you!
Like someone with a beef
Fresh, white, plump cotton
Removed all bushes.

Now there will be no dispute:
For the sled and uphill
Have fun running!
Really, mom? You won't refuse
And you might say to yourself:
"Well, hurry up for a walk!"

A. Fet

Our windows with a white brush
Santa Claus painted.
He dressed the field with snow,
Snow covered the garden.

Can't we get used to the snow
Can we hide our nose in a fur coat?
How will we go out and how will we shout:
- Hello Dedushka Moroz!

We ride, have fun!
The sled is light - take off!
Who rushes like a bird
Who will roll right into the snow.

Fluffy snow is softer than cotton wool,
Let's shake it off, let's run.
We are funny guys
We don't shiver from the cold.

L. Voronkova

Maple shakes his head.
- Give me the gloves!
- Congratulations on the winter! -
Tits whistled.

White yard, white garden,
White tracks.
And hang under the roofs
Blue earrings.

The sun looked into the face -
Almost blinded!
Blizzard on the porch at night
She came to cry.

And the magpie at the gate
spreading rumors,
What fly to our garden
Blue flies!

Only such a gossip
We no longer believe.
There is a big frost in the yard -
Close the doors.

Sledges are asking for a walk,
The skis creaked.
And climbs into the stove to sleep
Our kitten is red.

He is not a sled rider
And not a skier.
Only paws warms.
This is what he can do!

First snow

Lit up with bright purple
Heaven before sunset.

And with the dawn on the village,
To the ponds, to the deserted garden
The first snow fell.

Blizzard

At night in the fields, to the tunes of a snowstorm,
Dozing, swaying, birch and spruce...
The moon shines between the clouds over the field, -
A pale shadow runs and melts...
It seems to me at night: between white birches
Frost wanders in the misty radiance.

At night in a hut, to the tunes of a snowstorm,
The creak of the cradle quietly spreads ...
Months of light in the darkness are silvering -
In the frozen glass on the benches flows ...
It seems to me at night: between the boughs of birches
Frost looks into the silent huts.

Dead field, steppe road!
Blizzard sweeps you at night,
Your villages are sleeping under the songs of a blizzard,
Lonely fir trees slumber in the snow...
It seems to me at night: do not steppe around -
Frost wanders on a deaf churchyard ...

Thick green spruce by the road,
Deep fluffy snow.
A deer walked in them, mighty, thin-legged,
Throwing back heavy horns.

Here is his trace. Here he trodden paths,
Here he bent the Christmas tree and scraped it with a white tooth -
And a lot of coniferous crosses, ostinok
It crumbled from the top of the head onto a snowdrift.

Here again the trace is measured and rare,
And suddenly - a jump! And far away in the meadow
The dog rut is lost - and branches,
Studded with horns on the run ...

Oh, how easily he left the valley!
How madly, in abundance of fresh forces,
In the swiftness of a joyfully animal,
He took beauty away from death!
